Generally, puppies are healthy and have not had time to present any health issues. Pet parents of new puppies have less data to enter in their pet profile, and our algorithm does not address health problems that are not entered in the profile. We suggest updating your pet profile once per year OR anytime there are changes in your pet’s health condition (for example, you fill out a pet profile and then six months later find out that your dog has dental issues–update your pet profile and ‘fetch’ recommendations again to see what we recommend with the new information taken into consideration). Our supplements are great if you want to be proactive and use them as part of your wellness program for your dog. We welcome all pet parents to consider them; however, our recommender will only suggest supplements if a need for them is expressed via the pet profile.
