Many dogs eat grass and there’s no certainty as to why they eat it. Different dogs may eat grass for different reasons. It could be that they find the flavor or texture to be tasty, it could be fulfilling a nutritional need such as additional fiber, they could simply be bored or have some tummy issues and turn to grass for relief. You may start seeing a difference with their pawTree® nutrition plan as our recipes tend to be higher in fiber and may fulfill this need. However, if you live in an apartment, you may not know what they are putting on the grass, so we recommend asking the complex management how they treat their grass and if everything they use is ‘safe for dogs’.
