If you look through the list, our Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe (grain free) is actually rated 5 stars, and our Chicken & Oatmeal Recipe (healthy grains) is rated 4 stars. What we know is that the Dog Food Advisor seems to rate grain-free formulas, especially foods with high protein levels, higher. Though our foods are high in named-animal meat protein, we are not as high as some, as we've found that many dogs can't tolerate foods that are too rich in protein (this often causes digestive issues), and our goal at pawTree is to help pets thrive in life (which is what our food does).
